The International Criminal Defence Attorneys Association (ICDAA) has been granted intervener status with international criminal tribunals on two occasions. We intervene on matters of principle relating to our mission of supporting the development of international law and the building of institutions that respect the principle of defence independence. Here are the briefs submitted to the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia.
